How to present critical business data with a Chromebox
Data has never been more accessible for businesses, and a host of new opportunities have emerged as a result. And whether you’re looking to collect, analyse, or present data, there has never been more choice available to you.
But how do you sift through all of this information, find the stuff you’re actually interested in, and then present it in an engaging format? Because every Chromebox runs Chrome OS, it’s also compatible with Geckoboard’s app for Chrome OS. Using this you can quickly get your dashboard up and running, and get it displayed on your TV of choice in a matter of minutes.
“In the Geckoboard offices we use several Chromebits and a Chromebox made by ASUS,” says Smith. “As a minimum we’d recommend making sure there is at least one HDMI port on your device to make it compatible with the widest possible range of screens.”
Once your hardware is installed, you will need to load up your dashboard in the Chrome browser. According to Geckoboard, this is by far the easiest way to use Geckoboard’s Screens feature to pair your device to a Geckoboard account, and display your critical information remotely.
